[xj40] "Door Trim"

I’ve bought a roll of new door trim (the fuzzy stuff that goes
around inside of door openings) for my car.

Query: how do you remove the old stuff? I’ve yanked and yanked
and it won’t budge. Is it superglued on at the factory? I’d like
to keep the old pieces intact, if possible, to use as templates for
hte new ones.–

Paul,
It sounds as though you mean the ‘Furflex’ trim that surrounds the doors. To
my knowledge it is not stuck unless a PO has done it. I have removed many,
simply by prying under one section , once you have a lift , away you go.
Otherwise, remove the door treads and start at wither end. It should just
left off.
