Hi , I have bought another XJ40 (1990) , working thru a few things , this one , i hope the last , is when i turn on the lights there is a continuous beeping , this is there whether motor is running or not , hope someone can help me solve it . TIA Mark.
Take a look at a wiring schematic - sounds like the path, that makes beeper sound when you remove the ignition key, and leave the light switch on, is causing your problem
