[xj40] Fw: I disconnected the power to my Alpine CD changer before removing the CDs!

CDs!

I took out the Jaguar radio which controlled the CD changer in the trunk without

removing the cartridge. Yeah, not thinking again! I did this to enable a super
dooper SD/USB player to be installed
I got the cartridge out by wiggling a credit card around underneath the
cartridge but there`s still one CD still stuck in the body of the player. Any
ideas, please?

the CD player?

In reply to a message from Timothy Bentley sent Fri 24 Jun 2011:

Tim,

If you cannot re-connect the CD player to the original radio
to restore power to the CD, you will need to dismantle the
CD player to remove the disc.

What are you trying to save - the disc or the CD player? :-)–
