Hello again,
I’m puzzeled with a blocked gearshift after having done oil change
to gm transmission on xj12 6.0 ltr. Well, I startet in the late
afternoon and finished that lousy job just in the dark. May be
there could be something wrong with the refitting due to poor day
light, however, I have no glue what could be the impact to the
hazzle.
After starting the engine the gearshift doesn’t work. The knob is
fixed on parking position and was not be forced down. Even the port
through the j-gate doesn’t work. The latch is moving, however, bthe
sliding block do not give way.
Any idea?
