Hello, our 1989 Sovereign cat does not start… The ignition key
does not power the panel board and the engine does not start
anymore. Some features are still working, like the starter engine,
the sunroof, the door operated lights, … but nothing on the panel
board. Would anyone experienced the same problem ? Thanks for your
help.–

Check the ignition ‘ON’ relay in the Blue base on the
component panel under the passenger side dash and also that
the inertia switch in the driver side footwell (outboard
side) has not been tripped.
Each time you turn on the ignition before engaging the
starter, can you hear the fuel pump give its half-second
priming burst?–
