AFAIK, the radiator support panel for the '93-'94 XJ40
(CCC7173 or MNA4188AA) and the X300 (MNA4188AA) which both
have twin electric cooling fans is different to the '90-'92
XJ40 (CAC9699 or CCC2670) with the mechanical fan and the
forward mounted auxiliary electric fan.
Looking at the pictures in the parts catalogue comparing the
'90-'92 XJ40 and the X300 panels, the mounting attachment
appears quite different.
It would be good if an X300 MNA4188AA could be made to fit a
'90-'92 car because the CAC9699 and CCC2670 are ‘NLA’ from
Jaguar. Fortunately I have a brand new CCC2670 which has
been sitting in my garage since 2007 awaiting fitment to my
car. I guess I will really have to do it this year before my
‘temporary fix’ collapses and the radiator falls out on to
the road! :-)–
