[xj40] no start, bad injector?

engine stopped two blocks from home.
towed home. will not start
all plugs have spark.
fuel in #5 cyninder.

removed power from #5 injector.
removed #5 plug.
cranked for 5+ seconds and got 15-20cc of fuel in #5 cylinder. (several
times)

is #5 injector stuck open???
i ordered one used injector and 6 o-ring kits from CW.
have i wasted my time and money???
do i have any idea what i’m doing???

If you removed the electrical connector from #5 injector, and got more fuel
after it was disconnected, its stuck open.
Never heard of an injector sticking open though.
It should not kill the motor I would think, unless its open enough to
eliminate
the pressure to the other injectors, that’s a LOT of fuel flowing
into #5!
Bend a rod that way…
