[xj40] Picnic Tray for 1990 XJ40 Sov

Does anyone know if picnic trays (spares from Jaguar) can be
installed on standard seats? Comes with a cup holder - I think it’s
pretty neat.–

Search the archives. One of the regular JLers has done something
like this and (I think) posted the details. I guess ‘‘picnic’’ used
as your search word ought to turn it up.

I seem to recall thinking at the time, though, that it would have
been easier to find a set of VDP/Daimler seats and fitting them
instead…–

you need all the parts off the back of a daimler seat to be
able to fit these.its a much better option to just buy a
second hand interior. just did mine.they look great but they
are not very functional.–

I suppose it’s not worth the hassle then.
Thanks for your replies.
