If it’s anything like the set-upon my '91, whenever I disconnect
the battery after un-alarming the car but before starting the
engine, I have to set the alarm immediately after re-connecting
it and un-alarm it straight away to shut it up.
I think this is something to do with the internal battery in the
alarm being low on power and the alarm relying on the car’s
battery but when you disconnect it, it throws a wobbly until you
have run the engine for a while to re-charge it’s internal
battery.–
