I have two Vac lines that have come undone - and I can not find where the
hook up -
one is red one is black - both seem to originate from the area of the
battery - and run along the fire wall in the direction of the whiper motor -
black one is about 4" longer than the red one - both only reach too just
past the whiper motor -
It seems there needs to be a place for them to attach close to the whiper
motor but I can’t see…
any thoughts?

Good morning,
On my 88, the red vacuum hose goes to the heater valve located just under
the wiper motor. Without it the valve is in default open position allowing
hot water into the heater core. Plays havoc trying to cool the car with all
that hot water in there.
The black hose should go to the top of the intake manifold between numbers 5
& 6 fuel lines. there is a vacuum nipple located directly under the round
gold thing on the fuel line. Mine had a rubber L piece to attach the black
line to, but it had cracked and I was able to trim the damaged section off
and make it work anyway.
