Has any one seen one of these ?
It belongs to a friend of mine . His father-in-law was a Jag dealer and was presented with this from Jaguar. It is hallmarked sterling silver with the London assay mark . The hallmark is underneath and I cannot get to the Maker’s Mark .
How heavy? Silver is only around £250- ish per pound or $600/ kilo, so I’d tell him to list it on the house contents insurance and enjoy a nice Series 3 XJ.
