After going through the absolutely frustrating experience of purchasing a replacement rear air shock with a cone on top, but listed as as a compatible part, I purchased a correct air shock but now the fitting from shock to air line is twice the size of mine. Are there adapters? Why the differences?
Clarkecars,
You are on the wrong list. This list is for the Series I, II, and III XJ6s and XJ12s. Your car is a few generations newer and very different from the ones discussed here. Please check the Jag-Lovers website for your year and model to see what list you should be posting to.

Wrong forum section. This is the 1968 to 1987. (later V12 series III)
You need the X300 section.
PS
The suspension on the X350 consists of AIR SPRINGS with hydraulic dampers.(not air shocks)
Air shocks are what people used in the 70s to jack the rear up in their Mustangs, Camaros and Javelins.
