I am looking for some advice
I have a 1998 v8 xjr
Been running fine for 4 years
Today went out to start it
It wouldn’t run
Then it would start but dies after a few seconds
This has continued for a week now
Tried 2 new fuel pump relays
Still the same
If I take the relays out and bridge the connections
Car starts and runs ok
Apart form a few times dash says restricted performance
Would be great full for any ideas or if anyone else has had the same issues

Fuel pump no1 failed I expect.
If you remove relay no1 only
And leave relay 2 fitted I bet it would run ok
