after changing automatic transmission oil and filter reassembled black pan support and have 4 bolts left over. Where do they go?
A photo of the bolts might help.
I have a policy that if I take something apart and end up with extra parts when I put back together again I have to eat the extra parts. May I suggest a nice onion dip or perhaps some guacamole?
Perhaps if you posted some picture of the parts someone with a car like yours might recognize them.

Good suggestion. the bolt dimensions are 12mm dia, 20mm thread length, and pitch is 1.25mm…Will work on sending a photo. Thanks for any and all help

any place I can find a parts manual for the 1992 xjs
Try SNG Barret. Lots of good pics and part numbers.

island man,
One place I go online to look up part numbers is Jaguarclassicparts.com. I also have the hard copy Jaguar Parts Catalogues for my five Jaguars but I don’t have a facelift XJ-S. So others will have to comment about parts catalogues for the facelift cars.
