XJS 4.0 Coupe, facelift in the USA

Hi all,

I am visiting here from the XJ6 forum witha question for XJS specialists.

I am based in California and very tempted to treat myself to a XJS 4.0 Coupe, facelift.

There however seems to be none of these available for sale. This is in great contrast with the convertible model that is plentiful in the small ads.

Am I right to say that facelift 4.0 Coupe was not imported to the USA?

They were imported, just not a hot seller. Autotrader had a nice cheap one in Ohio I should have snapped up.
