XJS 6ltr spark issue

Hi New to the forum My xjs 6 litre with marelli ign was perfect until today when i stared it it was only running on A bank upon investigation no spark on b bank connections and amplifier all ok where to look next help please

Start by removing and inspecting cap and rotor.

thanks for your reply i did remove tha ht wire from the coil no spark to distributor

IMO, if no spark is coming, then 99.9% chance it is the coil and 0,1% the ignition amp

Removing HT is insufficient. Remove the cap, remove the rotor, and see if the rotor especially is burned underneath. There’s no point in further conjecture until you’ve done this.
