Oh yes, I’ll make sure there’s no spark, that’s a sure way to end my xjs maintenance.
When not firing, you’d expect to see 12v on both sides of the injector as this is all tied to the 12v rail. The way it works is that the ECU provides the grounding signal path, so when it fires/clicks, the 12v side of the injector is at 12v and the ECU side of the injector drops to 0v.
