I did a body-off on my Wife’s treasured 120 FHC many years ago and replaced the grille with an after market steel grille which has deteriorated. Fortunately, I kept the original brass grille. It had one slightly bent vane but was otherwise ok so I had it re-chromed. ($O,uch!!!) But, it is gorgeous. Should almost be hung on the wall rather than the car.
Should there be a ‘gasket’ between the grille and the hood??
I see none in my parts manuals.
What is your opinion? Should I put a gasket there?
