[xk] 120 OTS hood bow covering material

Does anyone know the correct material and color of the
covers on late 120 OTS front wood bows?

My originals appear to be the same color as the webs/straps,
or maybe the original french grey, but as they are 60 years
old, I can’t tell whether or not they are just faded.
Thanks.

Generally they were the same color as the top.–

There are actually two layers of material. The
first(inner)layer ends approximately an inch from each end
and the second (outer) layer covers the bow entirely and is
tacked.

The inner is heavier than the outer layer.–
