Hi.
Does anyone have info on the fitted luggage, supplied by Auto
Luggage Ltd, for the XK120?
I recently came across what I believe is the smaller of the two
cases that I wish to confirm is correct.
What would be the likelihood of finding the other sized one?? Do
you think many exist?
Cheers, Jordy.

Graham;
I think your chances of finding a decent usable piece of the fitted
luggage might be rather long…
One of our XK guys hand-builds the fitted luggage (including
custom covers for the exteriors) for the 120’s…
As I understand, they are near exact replicas of those available
when our XK120’s were new! His name is Taris… I cannot lay
hands on his e-address right now, but you can do a search in the
XK Archives or hollar at him thru the XK-List… I think he keeps
an eye open on the postings.

Beautiful Graham. May I ask how you cleaned its delicate covering, please? My pair look very filthy in comparison.

It would be interesting to know how boot (trunk?) dimensions differ across the XK model range. The advert for the 140 luggage appears to offer a different set for each body style, and indeed my forward case (that slides beneath the parcel shelf) is way too deep for my 120FHC. Perhaps a mismatched pair.

Hi Chris.
Not mine unfortunately
I did add this comment when I posted the pictures but it decided not to include it.
This is a car presently for sale in the US somewhere I came across.
I have one case myself, made by Auto Luggage, that’s red.

Your car is just 12 later than mine,669181, which was originally supplied to Atwoods.

XK120DHC ?? and note the luggage rack on the boot lid
OK. So all these years later and having finally had my 120 FHC delivered the Auto Luggage Ltd case I have is just too wide to fit the boot space
Is a 140 wider in the boot space opening than a 120?
Of course the case I have could be for a complete different make or model of car but the shape appears correct.
Regards, Graham
Hi Taris.
I just added to my original post after finding the Auto Luggage Ltd case I have does not fit into the boot space of my 120 FHC.
Would you have the dimension of an original XK120 fitted set?
Regards, Graham
graham in 2018 the 2 pics show the case in the boot or doesn’t it? the 120 and 140 boot lid I am sure are identical width…
I have a case here that has been retrimmed in red vinyl but typical its about 25 mm to thick to be able to close boot lid in 120DHC
Hi Terry.
No the photos of the case in the trunk in 2018 is not my car. It was some photos I got off line at the time. The note I added to that post at the time didn’t appear for what ever reason. Here is my case.
Interesting in red if original fabric only ever seen them in that grey stripe type finish
Can you send close up of badge
Terry
