[xk-engine] Ignition mk 2 3.4

Fitted with 321 distributor, all good but think might
benefit with high output coil and larger plug gaps?

Also opinions on Evans waterless cooling system.

The waterless coolant seems to me to be a very very expensive
re-invention of the wheel, and utterly pointless–

what benefit do you think you will get with higher output
coil? I assume you are on a normalish compression ratio
engine? in which case you won’t benefit at all. As for the
waterless cooling I totally agree with Stephen…
pointless.–

Wheels have been re invented many many times with many
improvements.
Wonder how a wood wagon wheel with a metal rim would work on
your Jag?
c’mon…do some research and reading…then decide.
…most everything has been re-invented…or will be, much, but
not all, are improvements.
When is the last time you checked the corrosion inside your
front cover on the waterpump side?–

Nick. You sound an ideal candidate for the snake oil I have
for sale ! ( or you could try my special offer on Brooklyn
Bridge )

BTW, front cover checked about 6 months ago _ in nearly 50
years of playing with XK engines I have only actually seen one
perforate although I have seen quite a lot of cases of
corrosion . Incidentally, there are very few substances which
do not create electrolytic corrosion–
