auction run it’s course.–

Wow… can’t believe it’s been 10 years since I posted this… All work on the 120 was delayed/halted due to marital issues and $$$ after the divorce… I have remarried to a “jag lover”. I also happened to find a head and am in the process of trying to identify if it is indeed for my 120… I will be posting some photos and data in the “near” future… promise… hopefully it will be correct and I can finally get back to working on her soon.

Welcome back. In the intervening 10 years we on this forum have also learned some new things about identifying heads. The serial number hand stamped in front of the front spark plug is the easiest identifier. If it has none there, look for a hand stamped number either in the middle of the plug valley between plugs 3 and 4, or at the rear of the plug valley. Also look for a raised molded casting number on the bottom.

Are you looking for an early head w/o studs for cam cover at front? And low lift cams? Even then there are two types, one with siamesed wells around the inboard plugs. My heads are likely from Mk7s of that period. Located south east.
