Mike I am unaware of any published pictures of the linkage
other that the operating lever in the XK150 Technical
Seminar in JCNA. I have only seen one example and if your
quest is to copy one you will need much more than a picture.
The links and cams are very precise and of course the big
function is to shift out of OD when selecting reverse. best
of luck!–

I would like to find photos of the Manual overdrive operating
assembly as fitted to the late XK150s
Hello
Yes , the late Xk150 S were equipped with a manual lever actuating the valve
I have a drawing of the parts from the parts manual if you are interested.
these parts are nearly impossible to find.

I still like the XK150 dash flick-switch engagement of the electrical overdrive system. Not quite as close to hand as the more recent TR4-6 switch, later MGB switch, etc., but still better than the TR3 switch and A-H 3000 switch.
You have made a replica of the manual OD controls !
Congratulations !
Can you tell / show me more ?
I have had my XK 150 DHC , a 3.8 of 1960 since 1975 . Completely original apart from a 3 carbs manifold fitting the B type head ( made by Lawrence Pearce in the 60 s )
The knob is the one thing we haven’t made as when I did make the batch you could buy the knob from Coventry auto components in the UK they also had the correct rubber grommet that went into the carpet. unfortunately they have not had knobs now for some time but given its just a round knob with threaded hole I would machine one up in aluminum and I am sure one of the computer engraving companies could machine the arrow etc

Terry thanks. Not sure what the O/D knobs in the UK look like but the originals here were more like a small version of the gear shift lever knob with wording of over drive off and engage or on. Round knobs are often seen and I am told some black ball drawer handles even have the correct thread. Perhaps someone will remake them in the future. How can we view your product?
