When I rebuilt my engine, I purchased some competition studs which appear to
be powder coated (or something to that effect) which may help to keep them
from corroding. I think I’ve also read of instances where listers had
treated their studs with various other coatings.
I also used an antisieze compound when re installing the studs and dome
nuts.
