[xk] Hepolite piston part number

Greetings to all,

Does anyone out there have an old Hepolite piston catalog (catalogue) that
they may be able to help identify Hepolite piston part number 13243?

Thanks,

I have “1952 HEPOLITE MASTER CATALOGUE”, and can advise Numerical Listing
for Pistons only goes from a low of 269 to as high as 11693 (lots of gaps),
thus places your piston as being later date than 1952.

Not much help.

Mike,
“Hepolite” was a brand name of Hepworth and Grandage, and I am not 100%
sure of the correct spelling.
Hepworth and Grandage ended up under Federal Mogul.
A few years ago I was in a meeting with some of those people, and a Mr
David Hepworth attended, and I learned that he was of the “original”
Hepworth family.
This may be a long shot, but the last I knew, his e-mail address was:
David_Hepworth@fmo.com
His phone number was: (219) 271-5912
If he is still there, he might be able to help.

Welcome to the Forums Rick, please keep posting any relevant progress as it sounds like you are doing an engine rebuild?

Years ago I used to know Peter Hepworth of that family. He was a neighbour and had a classic car showroom near Pool-in-Wharfedale, West Yorkshire. Our Black Labradors got together, resulting in a litter of pups!
