[xk] part on hood frame XK 140 DHC

Dear all jag-lovers,

It’s time to restore my hood frame of my Xk 140 DHC.

I remove all arts on it and i want to change the rubber parts located on the left and on the right of the top of hood frame.
I put a picture on the jag-lovers photo album (caterogy XK / restoration).

I can’t find the part reference and a shop selling it (in europe).

Paul;
Put up a link to the 140 DHC Hood so I can see exactly where the rubber
goes…
Also, shoot me your Chassis number, I might be able to tell you the
original Jag part number and a source or two… (might be US Vendors, but
better than no vendor at all…)

Look on page 213 of the 140 Spare Parts catalog, under Hood
Sticks Assembly.
Perhaps those rubber parts could be:

BD.9466 Locating Block (Rubber) on LH cantrail
BD.9467 Locating Block (Rubber) on RH cantrail
BD.9469 and BD.9470 Brackets, housing locating blocks

I called XK’s Unlimited since they listed the BD.9466/7 locating
blocks in their catalog. It turns out that they no longer stock the
item.

I will also need those rubber blocks for my restoration. If they
are not available somewhere, I will try to get measurements and
fabricate them.
