Thanks DJ, once I get it to run normally with the front exhaust pipe
fitted it’ll sound even better. Right now the left rear upright is blocking my
fitting that pipe so I have to cut a 2" circle half way up so I can fit the
pipe. That’s why you only see one right now.

Regards, Otto M.

Well done Otto, it sounds good from way down here in OZ.

Otto M;
Best sounding forty-seven seconds I’ve heard in a loooong time!!
Good Going… Now, just sort out the “flat-spot” in the carbs (or one of
them) and you’ll be set…
Give an “Atta-Boy” to your “Cameraman”, he did an excellent job!

Hi Otto,
Great sound. I share your feelings as you imagine.
I have no leaks but I have a metallic noise in the bell
housing. It may be the starter which is remaining engaged. I
need to remove it and see.
Good oil pressure. I also got around 60 which is quite good.
Congrats.–

I thought you’d get a kick out of it Charles, when I get that other pipe
fitted, I’ll run it a little longer with bursts of quick carb. openings to
give it that starting line sound. By the way, the “cameraman” is my 15yr.
old granddaughter, who volunteered, also helped me in relocating the engine
to the test stand. My grandson just pulls the whole thing in & out of the
garage for me. Great kids, love 'em both, lest I forget the little one, just
turned 9 who’s always outside with me keeping me company, she’s my best pal.

Sounds great, Grandpa.
