[xk] Seat frames for XK120 OTS, early type

Would anyone have good photo shots of seat frames assembled with
wood and be willing to share them?

I got a set of wood panels and need to see how they were
originally assembled…

I am not shure how/if early and late XK120 differs, but if
for any help, here is a (restored) seatframe from a 1954 OTS:

and from a 1952:

Many thanks! Mine look very similar

I was curious how the side panel align to the back wood panel.

Also, my left seat base has 2 sets of holes for the back rest - is
this usual? Or maybe the PO drilled the second set…

One of the seat base frames (LH) also has letters G.K.N. WALES.
The right one does not - anyone else noticed similar sign?

I have only seen one set of holes in the seat frames, so I
guess probably some PO drilled a second set on yours.

Not have I seen G.K.N. Wales stamping on the seat frames
(but some other ‘‘dotted letters’’). Maybe it refers to the
British GKN company:

Do you have the wood patterns for the XK120 seats ?
I have the leather seat kit and need to fabricate the wood parts and attach them to the cheaper seat frames that came with my XK120 fiberglass replica

Thanks. Ross 425-530-0788

Hi Ross,

It’s not as easy as you think. The seat has to fit the curvature of the rear tonneau. How do you know yours is the same as original?

As for the patterns, I have none, I think. I bought the seat wood in UK.

Sorry, Tadek

OK, thanks. I will get it all sorted out. Just looking for someone who has the wooden patterns for a good start for my interior project. I can match any contour that my car has.

Would anyone know from where I can hold of a pair of lower seat frames to fit Xk 120 jaguar OTS 1951
