There is a similar problem with MWS in their supply of 18’’
wires for SS cars.
They insist on supplying them with the post war spoking
pattern insisting they have the original Dunlop drawings.
Requests to have wheels correctly spoked involve paying a
substantial ’ special order’ fee.
I spoke to them and email Jaguar factory photos showing the
correct wheels . They said , yes, other customers had mentioned
this and they would ’ look into it '.
Many months later they presumably are 'still looking into it .
Frankly I thought the NZ made wires were the best I had seen.
I don’t know whether they are still going. For the 18’’ they
were miles better than the factory originals .’.–
