[xk] XK120-140 spin-on oil filter adapter

If anyone else is interested in joining the group buy of spin-on oil filter
adapters, now is the time to speak up. We have about a dozen people signed
up already, with some people buying several. This is a one-time offer, and
I’ll be placing the order in this coming week, so get your orders in now.

This adapter replaces the FG2383 and FG2421 elements that are used on the
XK120 and XK140, with two modern one-quart spin-on filters that are
available at your local car parts store for $3 each. There are no
modifications to your car and you can switch back to the old filter at any
time.

For more information contact me directly and I will send you pictures and
pricing.

I’m interested… will they fit e-types also? What will be the price…
Can you do a quality figure? thanks john shuck westport, conn.

John,

Unfortunately (or fortunately), the E-Type went to the later smaller
diameter filter canister which was also used on the MK1, XK150, MK2, S, and
420, (and is also still available for $6). If you are interested in spin-on
adapter for your E-Type you might try this one…

I’ve got an e-type, 120, and a mk9. I’ll need an adapter for the 120.
on the mk9, i’m going to go with a GM 4 sp auto that will need the later
xj inverted filter for the change over. How much for one 120 adapter…
john

Mike, please send info on the spin-on filter conversion for the 140 and a
Mark IX. Thanks, Bob Cathey @Bob_Cathey----- Original Message -----
