d’Elegance on June 26, at which Jaguar was a featured marque (along with
Cobra).

Interesting to note that all but a few of the XKs had spoke
wheels. I wonder if the judges were checking serial numbers for
that little ‘‘S’’ to see if they all were in fact special equipment
cars?
Might be worth looking at the frame rail for the number there to be
sure.
