Can any of you good XK120/140 folks advise me as to what should be the correct width of the rear wing flange reveal v. the door shut panel?

there won’t be a “correct width” as such the wing has elongated slots to mate up with studs on back of shut face but as an average it will be between 3/8 and 1/2 inch.
Top edge of wing needs to line up with line through door
There is piece of piping to go in and the top bit has an aluminum capping piece.

Thank you, Terry. I have Viart’s excellent XK120 book but didn’t see that particular spec. I’m in the process of doing the final door fitments and want them to be precise. Seems to me the door seal on the shut face will be most effective if it is positioned at a uniform distance.
