Is there an exact correct position for the plate, and what was the method of fixing?
I see from an earlier post that Terry gave the correct gauge of self-tapper screws.
Thanks, Michell and Rob. The exact position does seem to vary slightly from car to car. I shouldn’t think the guys building the cars used any kind of jig, but just held the plate in roughly the right position and drilled the holes!
