XK120 trim color

Dear friends

Recently we had an interesting discussion about the original colors of our XK
cars. We agreed that the lists in most (all) books are not totally correct. How
about the trim color? In the book by Mr.Porter is a list. Is this list correct
or have there been other colors?

In the certificate of my XK120 dhc, may 1953, it is stated the car has birch
grey, the top is french grey and the trim is blue! Should I understand they mean
the rather dark blue? In the Porter book there is only a light blue noted.

Thank you for your replies. Best regards Zoran Mitrovic

Dear Zoran

I confirm the only blue used to trim XK120 DHC - as to original
specification is the Pale Blue.

With Regards
