On the XK140 and MK V the front quarter light pivots were controlled in a way by a “clamp” located between the inner and outer door panels. This clamp could be adjusted to stop the pivot rod, that is attached to the quarter light, from rotating due to the air passing it when the car was in motion. The clamp for the XK140 is slightly different but can be modified to suit the MK V.
Now then! Has anyone got a spare clamp the fits either car?
