XK150 disc hand brake cable

Did any of the 150s use a single cable and bell crank for the handbrake? I’m trying to figure out how to position the calipers so the handbrake cable can work off a mk9 type of bellcrank instead of welding an abutment to the axle for the usual 140/150 cable. I so, maybe there is an illustration available. The factory Mk9 supplement for the 7/120 book isn’t much help. I’m open to any suggestions about how others may have done this. So I want the handbrake on the bottom or the top?

Here is XK150.

Here is Mark IX.

Thanks, Rob. The Mk9 illustration had eluded me. I’m starting to think I can’t use the bell crank and will have to use the 140/150 cable. My problem then is how do I locate the outer cable housing near the caliper. I wonder if anyone makes a bracket for this. I think on the old drum brake setup that was part of the backing plate.
