[xk8] Compression test - Nikasil problem?

I recently had my 98XK8 (45,000 miles) engine compression tested.

Warm engine, fuel pump fuse removed. First readings were all
around 80. Second readings, after squirting some oil into each
cylinder, were all around 180.

The car runs very well, no starting problems, burns less than one
quart of oil between oil changes at 3,000 to 4,000 miles. No blue
smoke from the exhaust at startup.

Are the compression rings (top rings) not effective because of
Nikasil wear, while the oil rings (bottom rings) are still working
properly, hence no oil burning?

Any thoughts?–
