Got my mirror back from Sybesma’s today. Mailed it on a Friday,
they received it on Monday. And, by Saturday, it was repaired and
back to me.
No apparent damage separating the mirror case (they warned of this
possibility in advance) and the mirror surface looks great (a nice
light bronze color as before).
Also, re installing the mirror gave me the chance to make the
adjustment recommended by Gus Likas to cure my jittery mirror (it
had really been annoying me).
I haven’t re attached the rain sensor yet, but all other functions
still work as advertized.
If your mirror is failing, I highly recommend these guys for
putting it back to ‘‘as new.’’–
