Hi I’m having a problem with my 2001 xk8 . When I accelerate hard or turn hard I get the passenger side airbag warning light comes on. It is steady not flashing at all. When I slow down or come out of the bend it goes back off. I have cleaned the connections underneath the passenger seat and if anything this seams to have made it slightly worse. It doesn’t seem to do it with a passenger in the car though. Any ideas guys?
Sounds like the Passenger Seat Weight Sensor circuit is faulty or failing?
Scan the SRS module for DTCs.
