Hi, this is Martin in Ohio, had a failure on the highway when restricted performance and check engine light came on.
My car is a 2000 XK8 (seafoam - convertible) named Jade with only 34,000mi. Diagnostics indicated bad coil over on
number 4 cylinder. Located a new one at Advance Auto and installed, lights off, ran better, but I decided to check the
plug in number 4, in case it had fouled while the coil was failing. Looks dirty and not sure what the correct gap should be.
These are original NGK plugs from the factory in 2000. Should I just get all eight and replace? What is the correct gap for best running.
Thank you,
Martin Mindling
