ZF5HP24 transmission rebuild

x308 Sovereign 4.0 1999,

Has anyone gone through the process of rebuilding the Transmission ZF5HP24?
I plan to give it out to a specialist, but need to make sure that “all out if gets rebuilt” and not just some parts.

So is there a checklist of the various parts/kits that should be attended to and rebuilt?

You can do this 2 ways Peter, open cheque book, or only replace parts that are worn, which is what most trans shops will do.
Cost difference can be 5K or more
