I joined Jag- Lovers about 20 years ago but got caught up in the new platform building exercise and was unable to get back until recently.
I am hands on and do all my own mechanical work (big and small);body work and painting. I was very lucky to get into a Technical College and learnt much over the 3 years. It took quite a few more years before I had the courage to attend to my favorite Jaguar a beautiful two tone grey Mark IX. He’s called Rupoot and was named by the previous owner but it’s a fitting name for an aristocrat. It required cutting out a small rust area in the rear apron which has a double skin. I used proper lead loading as per original.
