The fuel pump on my 05 XJ8 Vanden Plas went out a few months back and the shop replaced the right side fuel pump. The other day I topped off the tank and took her for a drive, around 40 miles. First long drive since repair. The next day I noticed fuel pooled beneath the car dripping from the tank on the left side about 8 inches in front of left wheel. I could tap the tank and fuel would dribble down. I’m thinking the fuel was pooled up on top of the tank, left side. I have yet to pull the rear seat for inspection. Any insight would be appreciated before I dig into the issue.
