1975 Triumph T150V

Some times when you see something , you just know it’s a good buy !
A guy asked me about getting some carbs for the Trident , as he wanted to sale it .
So went had a look , soon as I see the bike I wanted it .
Had been off the road for years , a friend of the owner took carbs off to rebuild , never to be seen again ,
A lot of cash was spent on the bike , engine rebuild , alloy rims and so on !
So I made him a good offer and the bike was mine .
Have spent about another £500 on getting it about right
L.P Williams wanted over £50 , for a pod for the oil pressure gauge to sit in , got one from China for under £3 inc post !!

Such good looking bikes!

Good job…

Had a T150V and a T160; along with many Triumph and Norton twins- great bikes. My personal favorite was a Commando 750 Roadster, black w/gold…

Started the 150V up yesterday , after I drained the Oil out the sump , will have to fit a tap on the Oil tank

Had two of those, also the electric start T160. Also many Bonnevilles, TR6s. Always preferred the Commandos; I had a ‘73 750 that I kept the longest. Nothing beats the Isolastics to provide a vibration free ride (until they wore and you experienced the death wobble).
Switched to British cars…safer.

I am thinking about getting another bike early next year , BSA M20 or 21 .
Have a BSA Bantam D1 to move on , bit too small for me !!
