1988 XJS V-12 Engine number help

I need engine number as it’s going to Europe.
Can anyone give me a clue to where it is hidden?
Found chassis number on bonnet lip.

The engine serial number on a Jaguar 5.3L V12 engine is located at the very rear of the engine in the center behind the oil pressure sender as shown circled in red in the attached picture.

It is next to impossible to see the serial number without a lot of disassembly unless you have a fiber optic camera.

I did find Sean Straw’s decoder on line and found the engine number on the window sticker. Entered it in the decoder with 8S in front of it and got this:
ENGINE Code

Breakdown for 8S57420

  PREFIX : 8S	Jaguar XJ-S 12 5.3L 12 cylinder
  SERIAL : 57420				HE (High Efficiency).
		NGK BR7EFS Spark Plugs.  Gap .025".
  SUFFIX :  	No Suffix.  Assumed to be pre-1980, standard compression.
		(11.5:1 Compression)

MFG YEAR (GUESS): JUL 1981 to LATER

Emailed him to verify this is correct…no word back as yet.
