1991 Daimler sovereign warning light

Lower right warning light is indicating low coolant level.

Check your coolant level in reservoir and if OK, suspect faulty sensor

Hello Folks My low coolant level warning light came on during urban driving recently. I pulled into the nearest filling station and checked the level in the expansion tank - OK. Thinking it must be the sensor I ordered a new one. When it arrived I fitted it but the light stayed on. Then I checked the Jag-Lovers Forum archives. I should have done it before!
