1991 V12 Coupe front stub axel wear

Inner bearing was bad to the point of the bearing rollers falling out when removing the brake hub - here are three pictures of the markings on the stub axel - will have to use this axel as it is for now, with the new bearings, since using the car as daily driver - just figured by posting this it may help others - the noise from the bearing gone bad was really loud - Tex.

I used 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper and was able to clean up the stub axel fairly well - the bearing was able to slide on very nicely - I placed the race for the inner and outer bearings in the freezer overnight and had no problem installing both races in the hub - I have just finished remounting the hub, with new bearings, and remounting the brake caliper, so tomorrow will take a test drive - I did notice that I have to change out the shock absorber also - Tex.
