myengine light just popped on after driving for about 2 hours - Jag manual says contact jag dealer - 
anyone have any clues i can check ?

Your car is 2 generations newer than any of the Series I, II, and III XJ6 or XJ12 cars discussed on this list. You need to be on the X300 list.

I moved you to the X300 list.
Firstly use.a Scanner/Reader to check for codes and let the list know what they are.

I have a code reader and will test -
P1179 bank 2 sensor 1 ? it’s an in line 6 - Oxygen sensor
