2 post lift for 69 OTS

WOW!! What a great website with so many knowledgeable owners so willing to help me. There is a lot to digest; but a few specifics include the fact that I am not planning to remove the IRS and yes, DavidXK, I’ve seen your name on bring a trailer. Indeed, the car you referenced is the one I purchased.
I have a 2-post Challenger lift that’s 22 years old and a 4-post Bend-Pak that is 17 years old. I’m hoping not to need either of them in the immediate future for this car!

Once again, thank you for the warm welcome and great advice. It feels very cool to be a part of the E-type community. Steve

Though an under car inspection may be worthwhile. One of things I would examine under there is the thickness of the throw out bearing (can be viewed through a hole in the bell housing). Good time to also confirm that the clutch slave is adjusted correctly. The car will drive fine with a badly adjusted slave but will excessively wear the TOB.
