2007 XK convertible rear window

My friend in the USA has asked if I know how the rear widow is attached to the soft-top.
It appears to be attached to the headlining but both have become detached from the soft-top. Is some sort of adhesive used?

I think you may have received bad advice. There is no 2007 XK8. The correct forum fo the 2007 XK is the X150 forum.
